Tree removal is a hazardous, multi-step job: limbs first, then the trunk, then the stump if you want it gone. We have spent more than two decades taking trees off houses, out of backyards with no side access, and out of wooded lots across Bergen, Essex, Passaic, Morris, Hudson, and Union Counties. Diseased oaks, trees lifting walkways, and trees that have simply outgrown the lot — we plan the drop, protect the house, and leave the property cleaner than we found it.
What’s included
- Sectional dismantling in tight access
- Takedowns near homes, pools, and fences
- Diseased, dead, and storm-failed trees
- Permit assistance with the borough
- Log, brush, and debris hauling
- Optional stump grinding the same week
How it goes
- Estimate, access, and permitsSend photos or have us walk the property. We price the tree, the access, and the cleanup — then help with municipal permits when the town requires them.
- Rig, cut, and lowerMost residential trees come down in pieces. We rig limbs away from the house, chip the brush, and cut the trunk to a workable height.
- Haul and grindWood leaves with us unless you want firewood. Stumps can be ground the same visit or on a follow-up so you can re-sod or replant.
Call us when
- The tree is dead, dying, or hollow
- Roots are lifting a foundation, walk, or sewer
- A lean developed after a storm and the target is your house
- You are opening a lot for an addition or a new driveway
Questions
Do I need a permit to remove a tree in Northern New Jersey?
Many boroughs do — especially Ridgewood, Montclair, Englewood, and towns with tree preservation ordinances. We handle the paperwork in towns we work every week.
Can you remove a tree over the house?
Yes. That is standard work for us. We section it, rig it, and when access demands it, we bring a crane.
What happens to the wood?
We haul it. If you want firewood or chips left on site, say so on the estimate. Chips are free.
